Overview

Neurorite is built so you can play background noise in Chrome without giving up more data than necessary. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not collect, and how we handle information when you use our website or optional Pro features. This policy applies globally to visitors and users wherever they are located, subject to mandatory local laws where they apply.

What we collect

We keep collection minimal. For optional Pro accounts, we may collect: the email address you use to sign in (for example via Google OAuth), billing-related information processed by our payment provider (Stripe), and records needed to support your subscription and receipts. We do not sell your personal information.

What we do not collect in core playback

The core Neurorite listening experience is designed to run without advertising trackers or analytics scripts inside the extension's playback UI. We do not use that interface to fingerprint your browsing or to build a cross-site profile of your activity for ads.

Local audio

Noise playback is generated locally in your browser. Your listening sessions are not uploaded as audio recordings for us to store or analyze. Audio does not leave your device for our servers in order to play the core sounds.

Third parties

Stripe:We use Stripe (or a comparable processor) to process Pro payments and related billing data. Stripe's terms and privacy policy apply to payment data they handle on our behalf.

Google: If you sign in with Google OAuth, Google processes authentication according to its policies. We receive the account information needed to identify your Pro subscription.

Chrome Web Store: Distribution and updates may be subject to Google's policies for extensions and the store.

Retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal retention requirements.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at the email below and we will respond in line with applicable law.
