Who we are
Neurorite operates the Neurorite focus and noise products, including:
- Website: https://neurorite.pro and related marketing landing pages hosted on domains we control
- iOS app: Neurorite (distributed through Apple’s App Store)
- Chrome extension: Neurorite (distributed through the Chrome Web Store)
You can contact us at hello@neurorite.pro.
Overview
Neurorite is built around ambient audio for focus, noise blocking, meditation, sleep, and studying. Depending on how you choose to use the products, processing may occur locally on your device without Neurorite operating continuous servers for playback in the usual case.
This policy explains categories of information that may be collected, how analytics work on this website, how payments and storefronts are handled when you subscribe or purchase through third-party platforms, and additional choices available to you.
Information we collect
A. Website visitors (marketing site and landing pages)
When you browse our websites, we may process:
- Technical and usage data, such as device type, approximate region inferred by standard web logs or analytics vendors, referrer, pages viewed, and interaction events tied to anonymized or pseudonymous identifiers created by analytics tools
- Cookie and similar technology data delivered by browsers or SDKs embedded in pages (for example, tags that load scripts from marketing partners described below)
We may defer loading certain analytics scripts until idle time or interaction to reduce impact on performance.
B. Advertising and analytics partners (website)
Marketing properties may integrate tools configured in site configuration when enabled, currently including:
| Category | Typical purpose |
|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Audience measurement across web properties identified by distinct measurement IDs in site configuration |
| Meta Pixel (Facebook) | Advertising measurement and audience building where permitted |
| Pinterest Tag | Advertising measurement including standard page loads and conversions for events such as store clicks where implemented |
Partners process data under their respective terms and privacy disclosures. Enhanced features (for example optional hashed-email matching where enabled) rely only on hashed values deployed through site configuration, not raw subscriber lists pasted into markup.
Industry opt-out pages you may wish to consult include Google’s ad settings disclosures, Meta’s transparency resources, Pinterest’s personalization settings documentation, and the Network Advertising Initiative or regional equivalents where available.
C. Apps and browser extensions
When you install or run the Neurorite iOS app or Chrome extension, typical categories include:
- Account and entitlement data, if platform sign-in or optional paid features involve Apple, Google, or other providers we use for billing and entitlement validation
- Diagnostic and reliability data, if crash reports or aggregated usage statistics are transmitted through vendor SDKs governed by Apple, Google Chrome, or our own limited telemetry
Core audio playback is designed around device-local playback for free-tier noise playback as described on our sites; internet connectivity may remain necessary for storefront purchase flows, attribution, billing validation, updates, optional cloud-dependent features added in the future that we disclose clearly in product, or where law requires disclosure.
Exactly what identifiers are disclosed to Neurorite versus processed only on-platform is dictated in part by Apple, Google, and storefront policies beyond this document; review their privacy disclosures for your device ecosystem.
D. Information you send us
If you email hello@neurorite.pro or interact with support surfaces, we process the contents of communications and identifiers needed to respond.
Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)
Depending on geography, we rely on bases such as:
- Contract where necessary to provide what you purchased or requested
- Legitimate interests in securing services, debugging, defending legal claims where permitted, measuring marketing efficacy, improving products proportionately to impact on privacy
- Consent where required for specific cookies, marketing personalization, marketing emails, similar uses you can withdraw
- Legal obligation
You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority alongside contacting us directly.
How we use information
Purposes include:
- Operating websites, apps, and extensions reliably
- Processing purchases and enforcing access rights for paid tiers where applicable
- Security, fraud prevention, abuse mitigation
- Communicating transactional service messages
- Measuring aggregate performance of marketing creatives and placements
- Complying with law and cooperating with lawful requests appropriately scoped
We do not sell personal information under the CPRA-style definition solely in exchange for money. Some analytics or advertising integrations may constitute sharing or targeted advertising definitions in certain jurisdictions; use opt-out tooling provided by vendors and jurisdictions as noted above.
Retention
We retain operational data only so long as needed for the purposes outlined, reconciled with bookkeeping, contractual, or legal retention limits. Logs and analytics aggregates may reside with vendors pursuant to vendor retention timelines.
Deletion requests are handled within reasonable periods subject to legal exceptions (for example undisputed lawful holds).
Storage and transfers
Infrastructure for sites, storefronts, and vendor analytics may reside in the United States or globally across partner regions. Where cross-border transfers are restricted, transfers occur under safeguards your jurisdiction recognises (adequacy decisions, SCCs, or substitutes), when applicable.
We implement reasonable safeguards appropriate to sensitivity; no transmission is perfectly secure.
Security
Measures may include HTTPS for web properties where enabled, hardened hosting defaults, restrictive access internally, patching. You should safeguard device passcodes and passwords.
Children’s privacy
Neurorite is not directed to children under 13 (or equivalent age per your region). Parents who believe minors shared data unintentionally should contact us.
Your rights
Subject to exemptions, residents of certain regions may exercise rights similar to:
- Accessing categories of collected information
- Correcting inaccuracies reasonably possible
- Requesting deletion (non-exempt)
- Objecting where processing relies on legitimate interest
- Portability formats where technically feasible
- Opting out of sale or targeted advertising where applicable statutes define those terms
Submit requests referencing privacy to hello@neurorite.pro. Verification may apply to prevent spoofing.
Third-party storefronts
Purchases fulfilled through Apple or Google entail separate privacy policies and payment flows administered by those companies. Receipts, entitlement tokens, and payment metadata reside largely with them.
Automated decision-making
We do not use solely automated profiling that produces similarly significant effects as defined where those concepts exist in GDPR-style law.
Cookies and comparable technologies summary
Marketing pages rely on scripts that may set identifiers via browser storage or analogous mechanisms. Blocking cookies or trackers in browser settings reduces certain measurement functionality.
See browser documentation for granular controls.
Changes
We revise this Privacy Policy periodically. Continuing use after revisions posted with an updated effective date may constitute acceptance absent legal requirement for fresh consent categories.
